Meant for Her by Raine Thomas

**Mature Content Warning** This is a New Adult novel recommended for ages 17+ due to language, sexual content, and mature subject matter.

Photographer Sierra Stratton views the world through a lens all her own. She has an uncanny sense about people, something that often causes her trouble. When she meets the sexy and brooding Evan Dorsey, her intuition tells her he’s suffering, and she wants to be the one to help him.

Evan isn’t open to help from anyone, however. His focus is on his Major League career and making himself as marketable as possible for his upcoming free agency. He plans to ride out the season in Atlanta and then sign with another team, away from the painful memories that haunt him.

Someone’s eager to send him on his way, too. Between anonymous threats and equipment sabotage, it’s clear he’s earned himself an enemy along the way. To him, it’s one more sign that he’s right to move on.

But Sierra threatens his conviction. Her contagious smile proves hard to resist, as does her kiss. She tempts him in ways he never anticipated, making him question his plans for the first time. If he’s not careful, she might just convince him that he’s meant for her.

Cry Me a River PG-13

Recently I had a mom contact me about my Contemporary Romance, Cry Me a River.  She told me she thought her teen daughter would benefit from reading it, but the sex is too steamy.  The book has a love story, but it isn't about the sex, it's about overcoming obstacles.  Many young people don't realize there's an organization called Al Anon, which is a group for someone living with an addict.  Al Anon is a support group that lets its members know they are not alone, and coping skills to deal with the addict.

When it came down to it, Cry Me a River doesn't need the sex or F-words to get the point across.  Don't get me wrong, I did NOT censor the book, the original is still available.  I made a PG-13 edition of the book for my younger readers.  There are still some cuss words, and there is a very watered down love scene, but it is something I'm comfortable for my younger readers to read.  It is still PG-13, so not all parents will allow the book, but kids see much worse on regular TV.  The covers are different, the PG-13 edition is red and you can see River's face.

Thank you to all of my readers for your loyalty and love.  XOXO Devyn

CRY ME A RIVER PG-13 IS A STAND ALONE BOOK

The PG-13 Special Edition is the watered down version of my Contemporary Romance version of this book. The language has been watered down and the romantic scenes are less steamy. The original version is also available.

Twenty-Three year old tattoo'd foul mouthed chef Caide Palmer, has it all…a house by the beach, a TV show, a beautiful daughter and people who adore him. Life was near perfect, until Heather, the mother of his daughter dies of an accidental drug overdose.

River Murphy, a stunning twenty-two year old business owner who loves animals and good friends. Living a life with an alcoholic mother and abusive boyfriend, River should be totally mad at the world, she isn't. Instead, she turns to Al Anon a support group for those who live with or love an addict.

Caide didn't expect his ex's parents to fight him for custody, but they did. The court orders Caide to Al Anon to come to terms with his loss. River and Caide find themselves in the midst of a evil plot to sabotage the one thing that has kept River going, her business. Will Caide be able to be the one to protect River?

Review of the ORIGINAL version -

Supernova - Elizabeth Sharp Book Birthday

Blurb:
On Cleo’s first day at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Academy, things get pretty weird pretty fast. After being confronted by a strangely hostile boy, she meets two girls and instantly bonds with them. Before long danger threatens the entire student body, in the form of a soul eating possessor fae. When her brother is savagely beaten and left in a coma, the girls decide to use their fae powers to become superheroes and stop the possessions.

They quickly learn things are a lot more complicated than they had ever imagined. A government plot that had begun when they were infants endangers them all, and a demented former soldier bent on revenge is after them. The line between friend and foe has become so blurry, Cleo has no idea who she can trust. Will their superhero plot help them save the day, or just get them killed?

About the Author:

Elizabeth has a near crippling Facebook addiction, dwarfed only by her need for Dr. Pepper. A self-proclaimed techno geek, she loves cell phones, computers, tablets and all things technological. The internet has to be the greatest invention since the wheel, in her opinion. She lives in a quiet subdivision with her husband, one-year-old son, three cats, and far too many electronics. It’s quite possible she has some raccoon in her DNA, because she loves glitter and anything that sparkles. She enjoys making jewelry and costumes. Halloween is her favorite holiday since it’s the one day of the year that you can be whatever you want. But her first love will always be writing. Otherwise, hearing voices in her head would make her feel schizophrenic.

Amber's Faerie Tale

You asked for it, you've got it...Amber's story!  If you haven't read Enlightened, it is recommended to read that book before reading this novella.  As a matter of fact, if you haven't read it...don't read the synopsis of this book....or pay attention to the title.  By continuing to read, you're taking it into your own hands that you're reading a spoiler.  Don't write me and say you had no idea and now you're scarred for life.  Nope, you can't say those things.

You're reading at your own risk.  I'm warning you to turn your eyes and run and read the first two books before going any further.

Amber, the sassy sidekick to Jessie Lucente has met her match the day she meets bad boy Thorne.  They've gone on a few dates, but Thorne is Jessie's guardian and he has a mission to protect her at all cost.  He's able to handle Amber's sarcasm and dishes it back, to her dismay.  They are just learning how to juggle dating and Thorne's guardian schedule when Amber is abducted during a school dance.
'
Amber knows her abductors have a schedule, and if she isn't rescued before time is up, she'll die.  She doesn't fear death, she fears the pain it will cause her friends and Thorne.  When Amber's brother died she thought of nothing else but taking her own life, but knew how much it would hurt her family.  The only problem now is she has something and someone to live for; but she refuses to fear the end.

This isn't a love story full of sweet kisses and adoring teens, so if you're looking for that kind of faerie-tale, read about Jessie and Caleb.
